The Montargis praline was created at the 17th century for the Duc De Plessis-Praslin,
a grand gourmet who had an exceptional chef, Maître Clément
Jaluzot. When he retired, Clément Jaluzot, returned to his birth
town, Montargis, to sell his confectionery to the travellers. In 1903,
Léon Mazet bought this marvellous shop as well as the mythical
recipe of Prasline de Montargis. Today,
the recipe of the Prasline de Montargis did not change. The same gestures,
the same products are used since three generations. With Benoît
Digeon, the brand developed a greedy product selection recognized throughout
the world.
